Julianna Forrest Garber (Communications Associate)

Jules (they/she) is a Communications Associate at The Bronx Defenders, where she works to support the families, individuals, and communities of the Bronx. Before joining BxD, Jules completed a cycle as the Multimedia Producer for the Whitmer for Governor Campaign. They graduated Summa Cum Laude from The University of Michigan, receiving recognition as an Angell Scholar and Earl V. Moore Award winner. Born and raised in the Bay Area, they are a sarcastic, nonbinary artist & activist striving to develop consent-forward creative practices and lead the charge into a more communicative artistic ecosystem. She enjoys watching movies, crocheting, and exploring all of the wonderful experiences New York has to offer.
