BxD’s Emma Ketteringham Selected to be a Wasserstein Public Interest Fellow at Harvard Law School

The Bronx Defenders is proud to congratulate Emma Ketteringham, managing director of our Family Defense Practice, for being selected to be a Wasserstein Public Interest Fellow at Harvard Law School for the 2017-2018 academic year. Emma is one of a select few from across the country and around the world to be awarded this honor due to her outstanding career in public interest law and her ongoing dedication to serving low-income families in the Bronx.

The Wasserstein Public Interest Fellows Program was created to recognize exemplary lawyers who have distinguished themselves in public interest work and bring them to Harvard Law School to counsel students who are considering similar career paths. As part of the fellowship, Emma will mentor law students on navigating the field of parent defense and family representation and connect them with relevant resources.

Previous BxD recipients of the Wasserstein Public Interest Fellowship include Robin Steinberg, Seann Riley, and Craig Levine.
