Lorraine first began at The Bronx Defenders in 2001. As the first to greet those who entered our doors, she welcomed all and invested herself in assisting our clients and their families any way she could. In 2007, after six years with The Bronx Defenders, she became a Parent Advocate. Lorraine returned to her role as receptionist in the Client Welcome Team this year. Before coming to our offices, Lorraine volunteered in the New York City public school system and worked as an Administrative Assistant at several business and private offices. While working for The Bronx Defenders, Lorraine is simultaneously pursuing a degree in social work as an undergraduate student at Lehman College. Lorraine is bilingual in Spanish and English.
