LaToya Wilcox


Latoya (She, Her, Hers) born and raised in the Bronx is an event strategist with a certification in special events planning. She offers extensive experience in strategizing, conceptualizing and executing events across a diverse pool of industries. LaToya joins us from The Bronx Museum of the Arts as the Facility Rental Manager, where she oversaw the department’s operations and developed strategies to maximize profitability, increase brand awareness and cultivate relationships to develop new business opportunities. She was also tasked with managing logistics for private and public events, producing opening receptions and designing marketing assets to publicize and promote the facility rental program. LaToya also worked on donor-related events, which included, the Museum’s annual gala and fall ball fundraising event. Previously, LaToya worked at Citi, Inc, as a Senior Business Analyst and Project Manager, where she led multiple off-shoring projects, re-engineered business processes and facilitated technology migrations. As the Advancement Officer for Special Events and Marketing, LaToya will work closely with key stakeholders to develop a special events strategy to secure more resources, amplify mainstay events and oversee essential advancement processes. She has served on the board for “Young Event Professionals” and has also volunteered with “Start Small, Think Big” as a branding consultant for small businesses. LaToya has spoken at several women’s business events and received numerous awards and citations, with the most recent from Assembly Member, Latoya Joyner. LaToya graduated from the State University of New York with a degree in Business Administration and Management.
