Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
The Bronx Defenders has developed a groundbreaking model of legal representation called Holistic Defense, which has proven to deliver better outcomes for people in the courtroom and beyond.

Each year, we defend nearly 20,000 Bronx residents in criminal, civil, family, and immigration cases, and reach thousands more through our community intake, social work, and community outreach programs.

Training Public Defenders
In addition to using our legal expertise, we also mentor, train, and guide public defenders in New York City and beyond on our unique model of holistic defense through The Center for Holistic Defense and our flagship trial skills training program, Defenders’ Academy.
