Sabine (She, Her, Hers) received her B.A. in International Politics and Public Policy from New York University in 2016, where she spent a semester abroad in Ghana studying documentary filmmaking and public health. As an undergraduate, she tutored refugee youth at Brooklyn International High School through the International Rescue Committee, and co-organized a series of actions for NYU Refugee Awareness Week, culminating in a research trip to Berlin on NGO and state responses to migrant needs. Prior to joining The Bronx Defenders, she served as an immigration paralegal at Fragomen and a volunteer advocate for asylum seekers through New Sanctuary Coalition. She speaks Spanish, French, and Farsi.
