Rebecca Widom


As Chief Data Scientist, Rebecca equips advocates with new tools to manage and evaluate direct services and discover opportunities for systemic change. MIT’s program in Women’s Studies started Rebecca on a lifelong path of using data for social and economic justice. She has managed and analyzed poverty and social and legal services data for a wide variety of organizations, including national think tanks, small nonprofits, and municipal government.  Rebecca holds an MS in Sociology from University of Arizona, and an MBA in Information Systems from Baruch/CUNY.
