Rachel Seidman


Rachel graduated in May 2016 from Tulane University as a History Major and Spanish Minor. While living in New Orleans, Rachel gained a thorough understanding of racist and unequal practices in education, housing, and criminal justice, and became passionate about criminal justice reform. In 2015, Rachel interned at the Brennan Center for Justice where she conducted extensive research on mass incarceration in the United States. Rachel recently worked at the Center for Restorative Approaches in New Orleans where she learned a great deal about restorative justice and ways to combat the school-to-prison pipeline.
