Pamela graduated from the University of Miami School of Law. Pamela came to The Bronx Defenders from The Nassau County Legal Aid Society, where she worked for over three years representing indigent clients. While in law school, she interned for the Honorable Gill S. Freeman of the Eleventh Judicial Circuit Court. She also spent two semesters as a Certified Legal Intern with the Miami Dade County Public Defender, working in the Felony Division and in the Felony Mental Health Division, and spent a summer interning for the Legal Aid Society, Criminal Defense Division in New York City. She wrote an academic paper on recidivism and reentry reform with Professor Bruce Winick at the University of Miami. Pamela received her Bachelor of the Arts undergraduate degree in English and Psychology from the University of Michigan in 2004.
