Michelle received her J.D. from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of law. At McGeorge, she participated in the Federal Defender Clinic, interned with the Sacramento County Public Defender’s Office, and also spent two semesters as an immigration intern with a non-profit organization that serves victims of human trafficking and domestic violence. Additionally, Michelle took part in the McGeorge Street Law Program, where she taught criminal law and mock trial to high school students. She also studied international law in Antigua, Guatemala and worked and lived on an organic farm in Costa Rica for a summer. Michelle holds a B.A. in Global Studies and English Literature from UC Santa Barbara. Michelle’s Spanish is much better than her Korean.
