Laura is an Equal Justice Works Fellow sponsored by Greenberg Traurig LLP. She received her J.D. from the New York University School of Law where she graduated cum laude. While at NYU, Laura participated in the Reproductive Justice Clinic, served as co-chair of Law Students for Reproductive Justice and the Anti-Trafficking Advocacy Coalition, and was a Managing Editor of the Review of Law and Social Change. She interned with National Advocates for Pregnant Women, the Center for Institutional and Social Change at Columbia Law School, Covenant House and Her Justice, as well as The Bronx Defenders Family Defense Practice. Prior to law school, Laura worked at Trust Women, a women’s rights organization. She holds a B.A. in English and Gender, Culture and Society from the University of Pennsylvania.
