Jessica received her J.D. from Yale Law School in 2017. During law school she interned at the San Francisco Public Defender’s Office and the ACLU of Southern California. At Yale she assisted clients sentenced to death in their appeals before the Supreme Court through the Capital Punishment Project. In the Veterans Legal Services Clinic she represented disenfranchised veterans in the benefit appeals process and successfully litigated a class action challenging the unconstitutional delays in benefit appeals adjudication. She graduated from the University of California Berkeley with Honors and holds a bachelor’s degree in Political Economy.
