Jean-Luc Adrien graduated from New York University School of Law, where he was a Sinsheimer Service Scholar and a Root-Tilden-Kern Scholar. At NYU, Jean-Luc participated in two clinics: the Equal Justice & Defender Clinic and the Juvenile Defender Clinic. He spent his summers interning with the Community Justice Project in Miami, FL and The Bronx Defenders’ Criminal Defense Practice in the Bronx, NY. Jean-Luc was a Family Defense Practice intern for The Bronx Defenders, a Haitian Kreyòl translator for NYU Law’s Global Justice Clinic, and a Symposium Co-Director for the Black Allied Law Students Association. Before law school, Jean-Luc taught high school Spanish for two years in the Mississippi Delta region of Arkansas.
