Jacob Lemon-Strauss graduated cum laude from Georgetown Law Center where he was a Student Attorney in the Criminal Defense and Prisoner Advocacy Clinic, the Notes Editor of the American Criminal Law Review, and a member of the Moot Court team. Jacob received the Kirby Howlett Award for Clinical Excellence for his work in the Clinic representing clients accused of misdemeanor crimes and parole violations. During law school, Jacob interned at the Public Defender Service for the District of Columbia. Before attending law school, Jacob worked at the Housing Discrimination Law Project of Minneapolis Legal Aid. Jacob received his undergraduate degree in Religious Studies from Macalester College.
