Jacob Chin received his J.D. from the City University of New York School of Law. While at CUNY, he participated in the Criminal Defense Clinic and was a research assistant to Professor Steve Zeidman. He spent his 1L summer with the Bronx Defenders, and his 2L summer with Brooklyn Defender Services. He also interned for the New York Court of Appeals and the Legal Aid Society. He served as a teaching assistant for Evidence, Torts, and Judicial Writing courses. He was the Community Relations Chair for CUNY Black Law Students Association and a staff member for the CUNY Law Review. Prior to law school, Jacob worked as a Planning and Evaluation Analyst for Ramsey County Corrections in Minnesota, where he evaluated best practices for youth involved in the corrections system. He received his B.A. from Boston College and his Master of Public Policy from the University of Minnesota. He is proficient in Spanish.
