Ivana received her Masters in Social Work from the University at Albany. While obtaining her degree, Ivana also worked at Marillac Family Homeless Shelter in several capacities. After graduating, Ivana was employed at St. Ann’s Corner of Harm Reduction in the South Bronx as Co-Director of the Syringe Exchange Programs. During her time there, she provided mental health counseling to a diverse population, oversaw the Syringe Access Program, Women’s Program, Hepatitis C program and the Young Injecting Drug Users (YIDU) program. Ivana graduated from Skidmore College with a bachelors in American Studies and minor in Business Management. She is fluent in Spanish.
