Imogene Lily Mankin received her J.D. from UC Berkeley School of Law. While in law school, she represented clients through the East Bay Community Law Center Immigration Clinic and the Berkeley Law Post-Conviction Advocacy Project. She also co-directed the Berkeley Immigration Group Detention Project, helping to inform immigration detainees of their rights during the removal process. During her summers, Imogene interned for the Orleans Public Defender and the Bronx Defenders Immigration Practice. She also externed at the National Immigration Law Center. Before law school Imogene worked as a paralegal for the Immigration Center for Women & Children and as a receptionist at a private immigration firm. She holds a B.A. in English Literature and Spanish from the University of Oregon. Imogene speaks Spanish and is working on her Italian. She is a current Immigrant Justice Corps Fellow.
