Chris joined The Bronx Defenders’ Family Defense Practice after spending six years representing low-income parents in family court at the Center for Family Representation. He is a graduate of Columbia Law School, where he was a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar and a member of the Human Rights Clinic. During law school, he interned with the Neighborhood Defender Services of Harlem, Juvenile Regional Services in New Orleans, and The Legal Resources Centre in Ghana. Chris received an M.P.P from Oregon State University, where he focused on quantitative methods and child welfare policy. He completed his undergraduate studies at American University with a major in literature and a minor in chemistry.
