Brian graduated magna cum laude and received his J.D. from Touro Law Center in May 2011. Before joining The Bronx Defenders, he was a staff attorney for The Legal Aid Society of Nassau County for three and a half years, where he represented clients charged with misdemeanors and felonies. During law school, Brian interned at three different public defender offices, including The Bronx Defenders in the fall of 2010, and clerked for the Honorable Ruth Pickholz at New York County Supreme Court, Criminal Term. He was an active member of both the Criminal Law Society and Public Interest Law Organization, and served as a class representative to the Student Bar Association. Brian also holds a B.A. in Legal Studies from the University of Massachusetts.
