Breanne Chappell

Breanne graduated from CUNY Law School, where she was a member of the Criminal Defense Clinic and the Creating Law Enforcement Accountability and Responsibility project. She spent her first summer of law school as a clerk for the Honorable Rita Mella, and her second as an intern at the Legal Aid Society, Criminal Defense Practice, in Queens. In 2014, she became a staff attorney at the Nassau County Legal Aid Society, where she represented clients charged with misdemeanor offenses. Breanne received her undergraduate degree in art history from Indiana University, and worked in the nonprofit art sector in Los Angeles before moving to New York.
