Asia Piña

Asia, a Bronx native, received her MSW from The Silberman School of Social Work at Hunter College in 2014, with a concentration in clinical practice with individuals, families and groups. While working towards her graduate studies, she worked with children involved in the Family Court System as an intern at the Legal Aid Society. Prior to joining The Bronx Defenders, she was a Paralegal II at the Legal Aid Society and worked in the Adolescent Practice Team and in the Educational Advocacy Project. Asia received her undergraduate degree from Alfred University where she co-created a performing arts show based on Latino heritage in 2002. Since then, RAICES has been an award winning performance at Alfred University and a yearly event on campus.
