Aram Barikian received his J.D. from The City University of New York School of Law (CUNY), where he was a member of the Immigrant and Refugee Rights Clinic representing Guantanamo Bay detainees on Habeas Corpus proceedings. In his third year, Aram was selected as a Teacher’s Assistant for the Criminal Trial Advocacy Seminar. Upon graduation, Aram served as a Justice Fellow for the New York Courts Access to Justice Program, where he represented individuals in landlord/tenant and consumer debt cases in New York County Housing Court and Bronx Civil Court. Prior to joining Bronx Defenders, Aram held the position of Staff Attorney with Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton, & Garrison for five years, where he practiced Securities, Compliance, and Anti-trust litigation. Aram is fluent in Armenian.
