Anna Kim serves as the Director of Communications for The Bronx Defenders, bringing eight years of experience in communications and creative work spanning the non-profit, journalism and legal sectors. Previously, she served as the Director of Communications and Marketing at Callisto, a nonprofit that develops technology to combat sexual assault, and as Senior Communications Officer at the International Rescue Committee. Her experience also includes work with Amnesty International, the New York Times and Richards Kibbe and Orbe, a boutique law firm. Anna received her M.A. in Journalism and International Relations at New York University and B.A. from the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill.
