Allegra Verlezza

Allegra recently received her BA in Women & Gender Studies from Hunter College, with a concentration in Sexualities. While at school, she was awarded honors for her Senior Thesis which explored the relationship between the LGBTQ non-profit industrial complex and grassroots movements for queer and trans liberation. She has worked as a counselor on The Trevor Project’s National Lifeline for LGBTQ Youth as well as interned at CLAGS: The Center for LGBTQ Studies. She has also done extensive volunteer work, including community security for The Audre Lorde Project.
