Abby Parr graduated cum laude from Northwestern University School of Law, where she served as an Individual Comment Editor on The Journal of Criminal Law and Criminology and on the executive boards for the Student Funded Public Interest Fellowship Program and the African Legal Library Project. While at Northwestern, Abby spent three semesters working with the Center on Wrongful Convictions of Youth in the Bluhm Legal Clinic. She also served as a Judicial Extern for Magistrate Judge Jeffrey T. Gilbert of the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. She spent her summers with the Missouri State Public Defender in St. Louis and the California Appellate Project in San Francisco. Prior to law school, Abby worked in public affairs and corporate social responsibility in the St. Louis and Washington, D.C. offices of Fleishman-Hillard. She received her undergraduate degree in Political Science and Women and Gender Studies from Washington University in St. Louis.
