Behind the awards is an office that has been at the forefront of the national conversation about the future of indigent defense. By creating interdisciplinary teams of lawyers, social workers and investigators, the Bronx Defenders is able to provide every client with a team that is interested in more than just winning a case. At the Bronx Defenders, case outcomes and life outcomes are equally important. And our doors are open whether or not there is a pending court date.

Law Interns work with Bronx Defender defense teams and are involved in every phase of criminal defense representation.

Investigator Internships - The Bronx Defenders accepts college student interns on a year-round basis. Investigator interns assist defense teams in gathering information on behalf of our clients. Interested applicants should send a resume and cover letter to:
