Training & Education

The Bronx Defenders continues to develop educational programming and resources to ensure that defense attorneys, social workers and advocates working in the criminal justice system are effective advocates for their clients. In addition, we partner with community members in the South Bronx to encourage their full participation on issues of the day, such as voter education, rights and responsibilities. Through our training and education programs we seek to spread the practice of Holistic Defense as we work toward a fair and accessible justice system.
